Fate of Hellas

Fate of Hellas vampires are in for a hot new weekend, with the first episode set to hit Netflix on Friday, August 27th. Season one has already landed in our UK homes and it’s already set to hit US Netflix everywhere (alongside its US debut).

Based on the hit manga by Studio Ghibli and directed by Makoto Kato, the series follows an eternal vampire who manages to revert to his former self.

Expect the series to last four episodes, so if you've got your sights set on a UK release date, get stuck in.

Season one aired at #1 last night on @netflix (and @BBCWolverine!) and went straight to Netflix UK, US. From there, all episodes will be available on the streamer at no extra cost.

A remake of the original Manga series, it also marks the first time the series has released in the US.

In short: a show adaptation of a children’s manga series.

Based on a book series by Dengeki Comics, Invincible tells the story of T-Dog (A-Ha) as he attempts to raise a young boy on a journey to become a superhero.

In the series, Invincible was serialized on Amazon Prime in July 2020 and went on to receive an 88% positive user score. There's no word yet on when it'll arrive, but a second season hasn't been greenlit just yet.

Finally, this week's new release was Sony Pictures' remake of Tru: A Legend Reborn.

The film follows a group of students who are forced to enter a mystical land to prevent a plot against a tyrannical kingdom.

We last saw this remake of a British classic in 2016, but we're excited to see a remake arrive in 2021.

The film is directed by Mick Gordon (Warner Bros. and Sony Pictures).

Sony's animated comedy drama, Marrying was created by Sony's Eric Newman and arrives on Netflix on June 25.

The plot follows two teenage lovers, Hari and Sarah, who discover that the surrounding world has an expiration date, although a hooker reveals that their bodies and bodies have been transported to a "real-time world".

The film stars Battlestar Galactica and The Walking Dead's Michonne actor Jai Courtney.

When this new drama hits Netflix, it'll be a fulsome one-hour drama about Gattaca star Dave Bautista's troubled life as a recluse while a mysterious illness spreads through the restaurant.

The show will be five episodes long, though its length was described as a personal one-hour comedy. The series is set to be directed by Justin Roiland and executive produced by Rick and Morty co-creator Dan Harmon.

Currently, only one episode is available to stream in the US, with episodes hitting Netflix on June 26, 2019. It will be followed by the series' first two seasons this June.
