F.E.A.R
F.E.A.R. developer Monolith, founded by programmer and designer Michael Booth, announced Monday that the project would be a new, innovative first-person shooter with intense gameplay. Players will assume the role of an undercover agent who must stop a violent Nazi plot. The game will have several story-driven levels, including free roam, which has a unique reputation among first-person shooters.
"A first-person shooter with highly destructible environments has a compelling reputation among first-person shooter gamers," said Scott Hartsman, president and CEO of Monolith. "The innovative first-person shooter environments and realistic weapons modeling have created an unprecedented level of excitement for players around the world. We believe this game will do the series justice."
The game is being developed for the PC by Monolith Productions, the company founded by Michael Booth and then lead by Michael Booth. No details have been released regarding the PS2 or Xbox versions.
