Etherlords

Etherlords was developed by Jordan Mechner and was released in North America in October. It was originally released for the PC in October.

By game design, part of what makes Etherlords different from other medieval strategy games is its mix of action and strategy. While in the war for Etherlords, you are the adventuring, or "hero" as the game calls it, of the Viking, who raised your lands and lives.

For players who prefer a more strategic approach, the game has a single-player campaign that can be played cooperatively.

Etherlords is rated E10+ for Everyone 10 and Older. It will retail for $29.99 and includes a free multiplayer map, though players can download multiplayer maps for free if they're so inclined.
