Economic War

Economic War was brought to you in our country of opportunity, which is how the battle was staged, and then the console and game market switched.

You can find an article that I published earlier today about how this works on a different site, but it seems that some of the participants on this article got more game-related questions than I got for myself. I figured we should, though, perhaps look at this as a starting point for the possible transition from the US to Europe, where each year tends to start at the beginning of the Summer.

A new generation of consoles starts each year with a new name, but it wasn't always clear how many new territories could be up for grabs, or how many games will be sold each year. For example, the US seems to have a clear geographical cutoff. The good news is that it's much easier to get your hands on a next-generation console than Japan, which tend to be in the PAL territories, and the Canadian and Canadian regions get fewer and fewer releases each year. The good news is that we'll see more games coming to the US and Japan in the near future.

I'll let you choose one or the other: Microsoft or Nintendo. For now, I don't think Nintendo and Sony will be producing anything so different. I think it's fairly clear that the two consoles are one and the same, and I think they both do stand alone in that regard. I'm looking forward to seeing if they can take a few different approaches to do so. We'll definitely see a lot more gaming consoles from Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo at the same time.

I'm looking forward to watching the games as I travel around the world and see the new ways that game designers and designers come to the game world. That being said, I'd be surprised if Sony did anything but put the vast majority of its new games for the US and Canada. Maybe Sony or Nintendo take more chances to get their games out of the US and Canada than they did for Europe or Australia.

I think if I were to run a business for both Microsoft and Nintendo, I'd be more interested in running a business for both companies and seeing if they would make enough money to make them successful in the US or Japan. You know, when I say that there are a ton of companies out there that do a lot of research to see what consumers think about a game, it just makes sense.

When I saw a bunch of Microsoft games, I just had no idea what to make. It was interesting seeing what publishers were saying about their own games, and it all came down to the game makers. For me, it was really exciting to see the video game industry seeing such positive results. Now, that we've got that in the US, and hopefully we'll see some more developers coming on board, I think we'll see some more developers come on board. I'm sure a lot of them will be the ones that will make the most money and really demonstrate that we're doing a very good job, but we're still very early in the life of this industry. I mean, at the end of the day, we're getting the money.

GS: Now that Sony is one of the largest console manufacturers in the US, what's your opinion on the Xbox?

MS: Well, I don't really think Microsoft is the only company that's ever gotten a lot of positive feedback on it. So, I think they're out in front. We're really interested in having the Xbox appear in stores. But I think a lot of our focus is on trying to do our own thing. There's really only a handful of people that really look at that and say, "This is not really what we're going to do in terms of going into this market, we're going to create this. This is not really what we're going to do. So, I think they're going to get their hands on this. And we're going to be looking at them again.

GS: You guys made a brief mention earlier about games like Brain Age, but there's a lot more to come.

MS: Well, I can't tell you exactly what. I can tell you that. I mean, one of the things that we're doing is a new game called Quantum Break that we've announced recently, and is going to be developed by Remedy Entertainment, which is a brand-new game studio. So, you know, we're doing some good things. So I think when we start looking at these other games, you know, we're going to be looking at all these other things and [coinciding with] these other things. I mean, I guess you might be surprised, because, on the face of it, the whole industry has gone through this transition very recently.

Economic War

But the game they are making for us has definitely been more interesting than any of that.
