Du Fan Chen has been posting about the Unreal Tournament engine in the past, but you probably shouldn't expect to see the game appear on the next-generation platforms. However, last week, Chen posted on the Unreal artist's Facebook page about the future of his company.

According to the post, Chen thinks Unreal Tournament will be released on the PC, and his job at Phenomic is already under way. This is the first time that Unreal Tournament will appear on a console.

"We've always wanted to create a PC engine and this is a big part of that, but I'm also a gamer myself," Chen said. "I'm not a PC gamer myself, so I don't have a huge PC myself. I just wish I had a PC that could handle a little bit more gameplay."

Chen also added that he intends to release a version of the Unreal Tournament engine, which he says could be ready for the next-generation console.
