Dragonriders Chronicles of Pern is being developed by People Can Fly, the developers of Bulletstorm, and is in the early stages of pre-production. The game, which is set in the ancient fantasy world of Pern, will release some time in 2021 for the Xbox Series X|S and PC. The story is set in an ancient world called Engrad, which is inspired by ancient Chinese legend. With an RPG gameplay mechanic where players can level up their characters and equip gear, Dragonriders Chronicles will have an interesting premise.

This world will look familiar to fans of the Dragon Quest series, but, the big difference is that the Dragon Quest series takes place in a whole new world.
