Dark Angel

Dark Angel director Joe Carnahan is working on a new film that will be based on the show of the same name, based on the comic book by Jeff Fox.

Written by Jean-Luc Ortega and drawn by Jimmy Bertrand, Dark Angel is based on a book of the same name by the same name by Adriano Scholl. The new film will be set in a future where angels rule, but in order to survive, angels will exist, whether they’re benevolent or angelic.

The story will star Keanu Reeves, Helen Mirren, Terry Crews and Andy Serkis, as well as Bruce Wayne. It is slated for a 2011 release.
