Crown Of Glory
Crown Of Glory has found a new director for Jason Bradbury’s remake of the 1992 classic movie The Crown . Having gained a lot of attention with the last couple of films, Bradbury is now on board to helm a remake of the 1958 movie, which starred Hugh Jackman. Just announced on Deadline , The Crown would apparently start shooting in October in Vancouver. Bradbury is planning to move the movie's cast to the US to get the remake treatment. Though we’d expect to see the remake cast alongside the originals, Bradbury himself will instead play one of the founders of the United States’ Royal Crown. He'll make an appearance in The Crown , in which he plays the president of the Eastern European country. Jackman will play the next founder of the Royal Crown, and he'll be lending his voice to his co-star Matthew Hirsch. The Crown is based on a historical account of Charles Dickens’ life in France, and will be released on 30 March 2013.
Chris Sanders, president of Paramount Pictures and CEO of Columbia Pictures, has said that he expects the Who Framed Roger Rabbit remake to be "spectacular".
Filming has already commenced in the UK, with only the home of the film currently undergoing 'vastly rewrites' - but at least Simon Pegg has signed on to do the film. Sanders also had a say about working with Pegg for the role, although he’s yet to decide whether he would take on the role himself. The movie will also include character talks in some form - with some calling it Guy Ritchie's finest film - and will be released on 4 February 2014.
This year's Cannes Film Festival finished up this week with a promising demonstration of what was to come. It's not that we won't see The Hangover 2 this year - there are no sequels in sight, but there's no doubt the festival will be looking forward to a King Arthur flick.

After the massive success of Men In Black , we are confident that The Mummy will turn out to be a big hit this year - and that the director will be at the festival to show what he has in store. There is no doubt that the director will be particularly pleased with his performance in the thriller, which Deadline (opens in new tab) reports will start screening in October.
He will be joined by industry newcomers Manny Jacinto, Katheryn Winnick, Christine Baranski and Avi Arad. Vin Diesel (and a couple of other leads) will be performing on stage alongside his current star, Joel Edgerton. Filming will commence in Hungary in the autumn.
Leonardo DiCaprio and Christopher Plummer will star in Casino Royale , in which Giuseppe Camuncoli and John Cusack will both star. Antonio Campos and Nicholas Hoult star, respectively, as they attempt to steal a deadly bag of cash from a casino. Aldis Hodge (Hex ) and Frances McDormand will play a bet- broker who makes the decisions, which prompts Dracula to try and escape the dodgy cash-strapped Los Angeles. Transformers and Star Trek . Stars Denis Leary, Emma Peel and Jeff Goldblum are also part of a squad at the LA Youth Summit, and have been spotted wearing the new, blue 'n' black jumpsuits. Stealing was reportedly the key to a Transformers Disney/Pixar film. Dracula , meanwhile, should be out in cinemas next March.
