Burnout Paradise The Ultimate Box
Burnout Paradise The Ultimate Box for Xbox 360 and PC is set to be released later this year, at least according to Criterion.
Gamers can get their hands on this box for $50 on September 8, or $35 on September 7. No price has been announced.
The Ultimate Box features a single player campaign with 20 locations and lots of ways to customise the character, such as driving a crashed plane, dashing across the streets, and even doing gigs and touring the back roads of the Los Angeles-inspired Paradise City.
The Deluxe version, which includes the full game, will also come with an online multiplayer mode, further customisation options, and new cars and scenery.
The Ultimate Box is in development at Criterion Games, but Criterion Games is currently prepping a trip to the new city of Miramar.
“From the last few years, we have been working on a completely new series for Burnout and we have made it clear that we are now creating a new generation of Burnout games,” said producer Stephen Hood.
“The expansion is the ultimate Burnout experience for the first time in our history, and we look forward to showcasing it on November 8th.”
Criterion Games is currently also hard at work on Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit, with Need For Speed: Shift expected to arrive on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit will feature a variety of racing modes, as well as an online multiplayer mode that is a new gameplay experience. It will feature various online play options, allowing players to compete with up to eight other players at once.
Suitabendrassrille, which was developed by Maxis, has been described by Hood as “an evolution of the classic racing game mode.” Players will take part in Race, Pursuit and Drift events, while participating in Scramble and Drift events.
Players can compete in races against up to seven others in up to four players. As you progress through these new events, players will unlock a new set of wheels and upgrade their experience. As a member of the multiplayer community, you can even invite other players to your house or visit your garage.
Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit will also include a Career mode, allowing players to become the fastest racer in the world.
We know that the first game will be releasing on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC later this year. The game will feature a new career mode, as well as a new Drag mode. The game will also feature a racing style that uses a futuristic version of the BMW i3, which features four-wheel drive, six-wheel clutch, and five-wheel steering.
We also know that players will be able to enjoy a brand new online multiplayer mode. In this mode, players can compete in weekly competitions and compete against other players in free-for-all races. Gamers will have an opportunity to unlock more than 400 new cars as they compete for valuable trophies.
NFS: Hot Pursuit is scheduled to release in the fourth quarter of 2009.
VISUALS: There will be four new game modes in the game: Drift, Open Wheel, Tag, Custom, and Pro Race.
Autolog is a new social network that lets players race on any of the game's existing racing tracks. The mode will let players exchange personal data and track performances, such as winning laps and not crashing.
The game will also feature more than 600 track licenses in the game.
