Billy Hatcher And The Giant Egg
Billy Hatcher And The Giant Egg (included in a photo from international distribution) is based on an art of the same name by Isaac Hayes and John Hughes. It’s a "new take on the "King’s Speech" which is very much a teenager's tale. The film is about a monster that has been terrorizing the villagers in a mass panic. The public, the parents and their parents, are all being hurt and scared by this “monster," and that has given them a big shock.
Billy Hatcher was one of the best kids’ films of all time. He wrote the screenplay for the classic King’s Speech script, but made several other takes on it before his co-star took over the project. He also acted as an actor in The Shining and made a movie with Michael Keaton in which he played the titular character. His last role was a big part in a Disney musical in the 1960s.
For years, a rumor emerged that Fred Dekker had signed on to play the lead role in Star Wars: The Last Jedi. This was only further fueled when he appeared in the film, where he seemed to get all excited about the power of Force Edge and his potential power.

In Star Wars: The Force Awakens, it was revealed that he had even gotten the short end of the stick when it came to casting. One particular version of the character was played by Poe Dameron in the movie, but that didn’t make his appearance in the sequel any less memorable.
Every Star Wars fan knows who Cobb Vanth is, except for the one who’s been the director of the films themselves. He’s the famed secret apprentice to the First Order who took on a life of his own without hesitation.
One of Cobb’s many interesting scenes in The Last Jedi involved him looking over his shoulder in confusion at what he saw. Upon learning that the First Order was responsible for killing his adoptive daughter Leia, he turned to the dark side of the Force to see if he could be trusted, which led to his former friend’s untimely end.
After the final battle of The Rise of Skywalker, Cobb turns to The Resistance for help after he turns to the Dark side. He even had a moment of heartbreak, as The First Order wanted him to stand in line. It’s only after his ex-wife Maggie was killed by Poe Dameron, that Cobb became a mentor to his now retired, right before Luke’s dark side.
It’s after The Rise of Skywalker that The Rise of Skywalker introduced another character that goes by the name of Finn. He’s one of the first Star Wars characters to learn that the Emperor is a Jedi, but not the one Finn was taken from by Luke. As he goes on, Finn is revealed to be a Jedi Knight and a lover of the Light Side. In the climactic scene, Finn’s role in the Resistance grows even more.
The Rise of Skywalker dedicates Finn and Poe’s entire backstory to exploring their relationship and discovering the ways of the Force. Finn and Poe being the first Jedi helps make the movie feel more realized and poignant, which makes it all the more worthwhile for fans to see how the characters change.
This isn’t just a Star Wars movie with an original plot; it’s a series built on exploring the past. The movies have had fantastic, emotional journeys for Finn and other characters, but The Rise of Skywalker completely changes that. It’s clear that, like many of the other movies in the saga, he went through something incredibly hard and lost a lot of people. As the movie goes on, he’s drawn out in many other directions and is exposed to yet another new world.
Finn, by contrast, is a more poignant character. In the earlier films, Finn is not a true Jedi. He has his moments, which can be a bit jarring, but they are delivered in such a way that this was completely different to what we saw in Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Finn is very much a compelling character, but there are so many layers to his character that he struggles to balance on his own, much like Rey. He’s clearly changed a lot since the start of the franchise, but he hasn’t had the most interesting role in Star Wars media.
While Finn and Rey are a great addition to the Star Wars saga, they were always treated like expected additions that add a new dimension to the narrative. It’s not surprising that Obi-Wan Kenobi almost made its debut in The Book of Boba Fett, but it still doesn’t feel like a movie that people are asking for.
