Battlefield 2

Battlefield 2 has gotten old. DICE, publisher of World War II shooters, has announced that the game is now on shelves. The title was originally scheduled to be released in September but was pushed back as EA pushed the game's release to November. While the new date applies to the North American and European versions of the game, it was revealed today that the game is now ready to go. DICE stated that it was already shipping the game in the US and Canada to satisfy the fans.

"We are constantly assessing what the market for the game needs to be," said Richard Karpaz, vice president of marketing at DICE. "Our efforts to create an authentic game and the best-selling content within Battlefield 2 are deeply satisfying."
