BattleField Vietnam, the upcoming real-time strategy game based on the Vietnam War, was originally slated for a November 10 release. Now, a two-month delay has pushed the game back to March 1, 2009, according to the game's website.

BattleFields Vietnam will now be available on the PlayStation Network. The game is being developed by Zipper Interactive, whose previous work includes the SOCOM series and Star Wars: Battlefront.

BattleFields Vietnam will take place during the Vietnam War, during the Vietnam War.

As detailed in GameSpot's recent preview, the game will feature a large-scale multiplayer mode and a wealth of different weapons and vehicles. In addition, the game will feature the commanding officer of the player's squad in addition to support characters that will be on their own. The game will also feature a number of levels that will vary depending on the level.
