Baldurs Gate 2: Shadows of Amn is now out in the US and is set in the fantasy setting of the Forgotten Realms. The game takes place sometime in the 1980s, where magic has returned and the human races are now descended upon Earth. But those who came before have been defeated. Now the human race has found a new home, and it's your job to defeat a ruthless fiend and save the humans.

The game's new playable race is the dragon; it's a "grey dragon," and it's a blend of four different race groups, each with its own special abilities. Each of these four races are found in the game, and you'll start the game with one of these races (a human, an elven, and a human). In fact, the game will feature several more playable races, each of which is based on a different race of magic users. This might include both human and elven.

Baldurs Gate 2: Shadows of Amn has a colorful cast of characters, including a drow ranger who, on the surface, is a cutesy bandit. In the game, you'll meet plenty of new characters, though they all seem to be some kind of thug or witch; indeed, the goblins and trolls of Black Isle Studios' Icewind Dale are actually quite similar to their original cousins in that they're still based on magic; they're elves and don't have their own particular class (such as an elf) to play as. In fact, many of the races are actually pretty different in their combat effectiveness, which also extends to their their stats and play-style. The drow ranger, for instance, is the party's most balanced fighter, and he has the most combat abilities of any of the elves; so long as he's a melee character, he can hold his own in battle. Meanwhile, the elven ranger, on the other hand, is a magical damage-dealer. They also have the most healing spells of all the elven races. In addition, they also have the most mana-draining skills of all the races. And the fiercest of all the elves is the drow priest, who doesn't wear armor, but instead has no weapons, armor, or spells.

Each of the three classes have a special character class, and they each have specific special skills and special powers that you'll be able to use in combat. The first is the ranger, who has the most range of character abilities, but can also use powerful defensive spells such as the quick-firing sprint ability. The second class is the elf ranger, which has the most ranged attack of all the elven races, but is slower and can also use a magical staff. The last class is the half-orc, who has access to four different types of spells: combat, destruction, invisibility, and elven spirit. Both races have different special abilities, such as the smith able to poison enemies, the druid able to summon fire, and the shaman can use magical abilities that make him more resistant to cold damage.

The goblin shaman is the sole class that can learn two of the six classes, each of which has a unique talent tree. The master of the shadow, the spell master, and the peon mage can use the shaman's earth-based magic to render an area invisible. The master of shadow can use the shadow to identify enemies through walls and to reveal hidden areas. While in combat, the master of the shadow can learn the shadow to reflect on an enemy's movement. It's the shadow's final, best-known skill, that is most useful against humanoid enemies. The master of shadow can choose to draw upon the ground and create some enemies in the area. The master of shadow can also learn the shadow, an area-effect spell that highlights nearby enemies. The master of shadow can also learn the spell to camouflage himself and other enemies and disable his enemies' movement. In addition, the master of shadow can also learn the shadow art to instantly render himself invisible. This is the only class that can learn the shadow art, which makes him invisible and grant him an advantage against nonplayer characters. As you progress through the game, you'll eventually encounter an entire mission to master shadow.

The resource system in Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance is essentially a refinement of the system used in The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker. Your experience in the game will affect how your character will look and what type of weapons and items you'll use in the game. As you gain experience, you'll gain levels that will let you access new weapons and equipment. The same system is used in Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance. You'll earn points you can use to increase your character's strength, as well as to enhance his special ability, "charm." In addition, you'll earn experience by fighting enemies and by surviving them and playing certain maps.
