Bad Mojo
Bad Mojo is an old-fashioned platformer, but it's the gameplay that fans of the original game have been waiting for. The game's unique combination of tricky level design and fast-paced action make it one of the most unique games we've seen in years. We recently sat down with producer Steve Papoutsis to find out more about the game.
Bad Mojo will feature a distinctive approach to the platform genre that gives it a modern feel and more than a little homage to games like Mario 64. You'll encounter numerous enemies, such as chickens, slimes, horses, skeletons, beetles, monsters, and more. Each level has several sections that have you racing to reach the exit of a level, avoiding obstacles and climbing ropes. While all the enemies are fair game, the actual platforming takes a different form. Each level is littered with enemies that you'll have to defeat, such as pigs, spiders, golems, and elephants. Each enemy has its own move set, and each has a different elemental weakness. For example, pigs will throw poison daggers or ice arrows. Orcs will throw daggers at you, so if you're going for a stealth-based action game, you'll have to avoid being detected by a large group of enemies.
The gameplay in Bad Mojo is pretty easy to pick up. You move the platform with the D pad. Movement is handled with the analog stick, and your aim is to collect as many floating garbage cans as possible. You can also use the analog stick to lock on to different enemies. As you collect trash, you'll occasionally see pickups that will extend the platforms you can reach, such as a set of folding chairs that you can climb up. The game will be powered by both the PS2 hard drive and the television hard drive, so you can download and play levels.
You'll be running around and taking care of enemies.

The game's camera moves in an isometric fashion, and you can use the D pad to move about and aim. The enemies you'll face are obviously animated and feature a generous amount of animation. The animation in Bad Mojo is clean, but you'll see the rag-doll body morph into a polygonal limb. The camera angles are also pretty good. The platforming in the game is smooth, with an uneven camera angle that makes it easy to hit ledges. The environments you'll run through are diverse and feature unique enemies, such as a buglike guardian, who occasionally wanders around with a stream of sharp teeth. The character designs are quite good. The visuals are well done and offer some good variety. You'll find a variety of environments, as well as some nice touches.
The audio in the game is on par with that of the Bloody Rojo films. The game features a decent assortment of voice work and a strong soundtrack that fits the appropriately theme. The game's soundtrack is equally varied and features a good mix of themes. You'll hear catchy tracks for the story, while the voice acting is a bit grating. In addition to the audio, you'll hear some nice effects in the game, such as the wind and flame effects. The audio in the game is solid and features some nice bits of voice acting. You'll find a good mix of tracks that add to the experience.
Based on what we've seen so far, Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain is shaping up to be an interesting game. While the visuals are a solid experience, the story is a bit of a letdown. While the core game will still feature the same cinematic feel as its predecessor, the game offers some cool twists. The story has a fair amount of meat to it, while it's a decent bit of content that keeps the experience coming. The game offers a decent amount of content that keeps things moving along. The solid gameplay keeps things from getting too stale.
Based on what we've played so far, Legacy of Kain is shaping up to be a solid effort. The new tweaks keep things interesting and keep the core gameplay feeling fresh. The fighting system is solid and offers a solid mix of old and new.
Based on what we've seen so far, Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver has an interesting move set. While the core mechanics are solid, the PlayStation 2 version is a respectable effort that adds to the game's action. The game's visuals feature some unique art, while the Xbox version manages to squeeze some polish into its presentation.
The only solid aspect of the game is its content. Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver will offer more than 20 playable characters, along with a story mode and some unique minigames. The experience seems to have been polished and features some nice additions.
