Not sure if that’s the most fun you could have with this game on the original hardware, but with the Mega Drive/Genesis online multiplayer that was offered for free and with special WiiConnect24 multiplayer added, they did that more than enough

It's not only playing well and can offer a great challenge with a high skill ceiling, it's also a game you can play competitively, through split screen and via multiple wi-fi networks with everyone online.

Maybe a physical version should come out too...Maybe it's the mystery version that has been announced for the west.

So, will the Japanese physical release also include any in-game extras like extra bits and pieces to enhance the storyline?

I'll give it a try, don't worry, it is exactly the same game. It's not a remake but a proper successor to the games and while it is not part of the original, a proper follow-up game would be awesome.

It’s time to go on a journey of self-discovery, an ability that I have found some truly interesting, exciting ideas, like hoverboard ride/scrambler/speedster style racing where you accelerate, use the switch as a turbo boost, do massive jumps, dash through a colossal arena, and then hover all around a wide vista to reach a huge score.

They’re pretty good games with plenty of maps, interesting characters, a handful of modes, and lots of people who’ve never played one. I don’t want to spoil anything, but the game, and I’m not into just different-colored shapes, I want to see more.
