Asterix and Obelix XXL

Asterix and Obelix XXL are coming to PC, Mac, and PS2 in Spring 2002. Like previous versions, Asterix XXL is the answer to classic god games such as SimCity.

The idea of games like SimCity and The Sims is to be able to build up a city of your own, so you can attract residents and then import their items into your own home. You can set your city from a number of themes - such as East Coast, modern day, summer, autumn, forest, snowy, and snow - and give it a vibrant personality.

We're only a little over two weeks away from the release of the game, but we're eager to see what developers can do to raise the bar in this genre. Stay tuned for our first hands-on preview from E3.
