Alvin & the Chipmunks

Alvin & the Chipmunks is a claymation movie based on Jeff Niles' novel of the same name. While the movie is based on the book by Michael Wachowski, which has been adapted in the past, a potential first book is in development at Traveller's Tales.

In the book, players assume the role of Professor Bonnell, a young boy who accepts his boss's mission to craft new inventions. At his old cabin, he uncovers the dastardly task of moving all of the new inventions he's made. However, as Bonnell progresses, he discovers he'll be more on the road to making new inventions and challenging his enemies in order to save his father. The game is being developed by Obsidian and features over 80 levels with varying challenges and 20 interactive environments.

A second video game based on the novel will be released in the future, according to D3. "Based on the book, the real-time action game is set in an original sci-fi universe. Players must battle mind-bending enemies using unique abilities and abilities," the publisher said. No release date or platforms have been announced.
