Roughly a month for new content, the first season of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II was met with a massive drop-off, and it is currently the second-highest-grossing game on Steam. The sequel has improved greatly on the first game, greatly expanding upon the framework that Call of Duty 2 built with years of development behind it. With new modes and narrative-driven missions, the game is a fantastic experience that can only be found on consoles.
The new season of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II is also going to usher in a slew of new maps, modes, and other additions that are sure to shake up the current experience. These new maps will be especially noteworthy, as Infinity Ward and Sledgehammer have revealed that they will be larger than ever before. These new maps will give players even more places to explore, but they will also allow the Warzone 2 experience to be more varied. This includes bigger, more varied maps, as well as adding some new game modes to the mix.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II's updates have seen a huge range of content added to the game. Players can expect a new campaign mission and new multiplayer game mode. The game also offers an additional Spec Ops mode, which allows up to four players to play through the entire story campaign cooperatively. The campaign is usually a good length, but players will not have to wait long for the story to begin.
The game is also receiving new game modes, including 2v2 Gunfight. The original Gunfight mode pitted two teams of players against each other in a small, close-quarters arena. Gunfight was not well received by the Call of Duty community, as it featured a similar scoring system that gave players a score based on their team composition and kill count. The 2v2 Gunfight Tournament will be returning in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II, and it will add a new game mode called Arms Race. Players will be tasked with taking down targets in the Arms Race that feature the same score limit as the Kill Confirmed mode.
The new game mode, Arms Race, adds a variety of new maps to Modern Warfare II.
