Kings Guard TD

Kings Guard TD was originally intended to come out as a trilogy, but recently announced the move to a three-part, budget-friendly release on DVD, and through PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade. As announced on Sony’s announcement page, the film will be made in “a completely different universe” and will go into a new phase in production.

Sony is obviously hoping this means the film will be released in a more “filmmaker-friendly” direction, but that doesn’t mean that the movie will be made in “some aspects” of the DC universe. It may also mean that audiences will get to see more of the character, while watching the action and (possibly) the theme music by John Williams, but I don’t think that matters.

Kings Guard TD opens on March 27.
