Hyper Light Drifter

Hyper Light Drifter was only released yesterday, but the company has already announced a demo for the Wii U eShop, Wii U, and PS3 versions, and more on that upcoming release. And while this isn’t the game everyone’s been hoping for, Hyper Light Drifter has been a big success. It seems that a number of developers have decided that Kickstarter funding doesn’t necessarily mean an entire game that needs a physical release.

As a result, a few have decided that a digital version of Hyper Light Drifter will not be a fully featured game, and instead is solely a collectible game with all of the downloadable content packaged in it. This is despite several portions of the game sold as DLC and which have been delayed to include additional content.

Originally funded on Kickstarter, Hyper Light Drifter is a sidescrolling adventure game that sees you play as a ninja exploring a dangerous and beautiful world.

If you’re not a fan of action games, you should definitely consider giving Hyper Light Drifter a try. If you’ve never played a platformer, you’re probably not familiar with platformers, but that doesn’t mean it’s a bad game.

Unlike most other platformers, you can’t climb any ledges in Hyper Light Drifter. You’ll instead have to utilize your sword and your spirit energy, which will restore your health.

While playing as your weapons, you will have a variety of different types of weapons you can use in battle. From frying pans to mines, you’ll be able to take your time picking up enemies and then hurling them at your foes.

The sheer diversity in Hyper Light Drifter doesn’t stop there, though. Each character you meet will have their own unique abilities, which will help you keep your health up.

Hyper Light Drifter is a rare game that we’ve only played for a short time. It’s a unique and very fun title that many players will enjoy, and will help to keep the game feeling fresh even after playing it for a few hours.

Hyper Light Drifter is a unique game, and one that you can experience if you want.

As we mentioned, both of these games are action-packed adventure games with a bit of Metroidvania action thrown in. Both of these games are pure Metroidvanias, with the exploration of the two titles being quite different. The action-oriented design of Hyper Light Drifter takes a bit of getting used to, but there are definitely some rewards you can take on in the form of different powers, along with some difficult but rewarding boss fights. Hyper Light Drifter isn’t perfect, but it’s a fun game that you can check out, especially if you’re a fan of Metroidvanias.

For the Metroidvania genre, Hollow Knight is definitely one of the most notable games. While you may not expect it to be a direct copy of Castlevania, Hollow Knight is absolutely brutal and challenging. The world you discover in Hollow Knight will be a treacherous one, filled with nasties and dangerous foes that will definitely test your combat skills. The platforming will get quite a bit of mileage out of the action, and the platforming can get quite a bit of a bit of you thrown around. If you are a fan of Metroidvanias, you’ll definitely want to check out Hollow Knight.

While we have seen some of the greatest games of recent years come from the genre, Silent Hill 2 is a must-play. A sequel to the original Silent Hill, Silent Hill 2 builds off of everything that made Silent Hill such a terrifying horror series while still managing to deliver a unique experience that remains both terrifying and disturbing.

You’ll battle a massive assortment of grotesque enemies, escape and try to survive in Silent Hill 2. When not slicing and dicing things up, you’ll be exploring the eerie town of Silent Hill. For a game that has been long-rumored to be making a return, Silent Hill 2 is a must-play.

While we have yet to play Hollow Knight, we did our best to give it a play in our glowing Hollow Knight review. You’ll be able to find Hollow Knight on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Remember the Xbox 360 era of Xbox Live? As with all Microsoft consoles, Xbox Live Arcade was released for the console in 2008, though it was not the first. For the next two years, Xbox 360 owners were treated to exclusive Xbox LIVE Arcade games and Xbox Live Arcade games.

The Xbox 360’s Games With Gold titles included Geometry Wars, Castle Crashers and Blur, as well as Worms 3D.

While Xbox Live Arcade was much the same, Microsoft changed the name to Arcade.
