F1 2016 is the latest installment in Codemasters' premier Formula One racing franchise, having debuted at the start of 2013. F1 2016 is set to bring the gaming's favorite supercar to virtual reality, and although the game is still not available on PlayStation VR, fans of the franchise should be excited for a few games in the series as well.
In F1 2016, players will take on the role of part-owner, part-owner, part-owner, and producer for the FIA Formula One World Championship in Monaco. First and foremost, Codemasters has given players an all-new player experience in F1 2016. Now that the Formula One World Championship is officially in the game, players can look forward to the addition of more than 100 new tracks, 20 different pit stops, and a new game mode called Eliminator.
On top of that, the developers have brought back four-player online races as well as bringing in many fan-favorite and exclusive game modes such as the no-look mode. While Codemasters hasn't detailed the future of these features, it's nice to have them come to the fore as the company looks to build on F1 2015.
