Endorlight
Endorlight II is a strategy game with many accessibility features for casual gamers. According to Zuxxez Studios, their latest game, Endorlight II, offers a game that is easy to play. The game starts you out with a small squadron of soldiers as you head out into the galaxy. You then have to retake the solar system and save the planet by defeating enemies that are relentlessly pursuing you. However, as you fight and complete missions, the game begins to ramp up difficulty. As you win battles, you will gain skill points and experience points that can be used to purchase weapons, vehicles, buildings, technologies, and upgrades for your army. The number of units in the game is staggering, and each unit has an individual style. The starships in the game are beautifully detailed and are also one of the most advanced models that have been produced for any game. These engines are so detailed, it can be difficult to tell the difference between firing a missile at a corner or being a vessel at a large admiral's table. The graphics engine also looks like it will run at a solid 60fps. All in all, End of Nations is a great game for fans of real-time strategy games, as well as fans of real-time strategy games.
While the game's user interface is user-friendly and easy to use, End of Nations offers a number of control options to set the gameplay experience. The game controls pretty much like its real-time strategy counterpart, and most options are easy to set up and change, while the mouse is well-controlled. This gives you very little to do. The game's control is also easy to adjust to if you're new to the genre. There are more than 500 different buttons, and each button has two functions--one is used to change a single unit or set its weapons. Each of these actions can be set for the entire computer, or you can save the different buttons to the RAM-based disk and load the full program into your machine. However, in addition to the computer you'll find two different kinds of control modes: a traditional RTS mode where you command a unit and then monitor a single area of a map, and a turn-based mode, where you'll go into a battlefield and let your units do their thing.
The game is not merely a standard RTS, though. You'll also find a variety of interesting elements to the game. For example, you'll find the titular units and their innate abilities that you can research in this mode. For instance, the armada unit is one of the units that's important to the more than 20 different races that have also been researched in this mode. While we didn't get to see any of the units firsthand, we can safely say that the largest weapon in the game is the weapon itself, which will inflict a powerful effect on your enemies and cause them to panic and retreat. You'll also find a way to transport units from one area to another, which means that if you're stuck in a situation where you can't make it up, you'll need to backtrack and rethink your strategy to escape the enemy.
Control in the game's battles is straightforward. You'll use the directional pad to move your units around the battlefield. A single click on a unit will let you order him or her to move. When you want him or her to move, you'll use the C key to call up a menu. You'll also be able to send units into battle by pressing the button you'd like, or if you want to send units into battle using the right analog stick, you'll just use the stick. The stylus will control movement, with the L button controlling movement, and the D pad used to move your units around the battlefield. To keep the gameplay flowing, the stylus will let you interact with the battle in real time, even with the pause menu.
The units in battle will be equipped with standard battle gear that includes shields, ammunition, and healing items. As you move around the battlefield, your units will gain experience points that will level up as they get more powerful. The only drawback to the combat is that you won't be able to train soldiers with specific items, so you won't be able to use weapons or armor. However, you will be able to outfit your soldiers with some unique items. You'll also be able to buy a few different weapons and armor sets, which will give them a little extra fighting capabilities, such as laser weapons that can shoot powerful laser shots.
One of the most interesting elements in the game is the new strategic map that you'll be able to use to your advantage. This is a tall structure that has dozens of points across the map, which you'll be able to use to command your units and boost your performance in battle. While you'll be able to issue orders to your units, it will be possible to issue them via an easy-to-use radial menu.
