Dogos
Dogos is a 2D-and-shooter set in a world filled with robots that are just days away from nuclear power. It's fast, it's exciting and it's got a really big twist. It's not a robot, but one from the future.
Playable character Spanna "Sparky" Matheson is also based on Spanna's popular character from the Silver Award-winning World War II movie, Dirk the Daring. She, along with her boyfriend, Sarah, join the Resistance as a reporter on a global mission to find the missing president of the United States.
Well, this story is about Spanna. In it, she's enlisted by an intergalactic police force who are all called the Dogos. This is part of a plot to take back some stolen power and all for keeps in the last millennium, when the dog got her hands on a dangerous situation. It's out in the US on 5 March.
We'll have a review for you soon.
Alto's Daughter is a pretty unique mobile game that requires a fair bit of an external environment to play it. It's a phone-powered game, so you and your partner must choose from one of five characters and place them in a board game-style scenario, or they will try and do the same thing.
There are a number of different settings, and each has a different storyline depending on the character. On the Normal setting, you get to choose which friends to play with, and on the Infinite setting you get to choose whether you want to be male or female.
There are several different game modes in this game, including the standard skirmish, two-player co-op, time attack, and endless battles. You can also take a look at one of the five multiplayer modes that have been designed specifically for this mode.

Bifrost is a lovely-looking puzzle game from BlitWorks. We reviewed the game back in December, and although the 3DS version wasn't exactly the same, it looked wonderful.
In the game, you have to avoid ice blocks in order to leave behind a moving ball to change the colour of the block. A nice idea that keeps the tension high while you work to progress.
We were pleasantly surprised by the multiplayer mode in the game, as it's played completely on the 3DS's SD card, and adds a little extra motivation to see other players' worlds through to victory.
The course selection in the game is pretty good, with a bunch of stages to play in and over again, with even bigger challenges for you to overcome.
In our last look at the game, we learned that it's about trying to escape from an icy maze and taking the opportunity to show off your 'grab a sweet moment', along with a hint system that looks a lot like the one in the Power Paintbrush on Wii.
There's also a lot of unique graphical elements to the game, which help add some extra excitement to the experience.
There are also a bunch of new characters who also feature in the game. As you might expect, this is where things start to get a little crazy, with a whole load of different species. We hope to bring some fun and crazy new characters along for the ride.
At the same time, we're really pleased with the way the game's been released, in terms of its presentation. One of the main appeals for us was the re-releases of all the Power Paintbrush games we've developed for the Nintendo DS, while also trying to stay true to the spirit of the originals, while adding some new new elements to the mix to give the game a fresh new feel. We're always striving to create new ideas for the series, and a few times, we've got quite a few surprises in store.
For the WiiWare version, we're aiming for a very traditional, old-school look for the game, and it'll look exactly as it did on the GameCube. We've focused on a style that's unique to the Wii and fits the game's unique characteristics.
We've been working closely with Nintendo for a number of years to make sure that we were able to deliver a great game, and we're really happy with the experience they've been getting this time.
Nintendo Life: First off, how has development progressed on the new system?
DS: I think we've developed a great visual style that's unique to the Wii. I think that's what you'll see on the Nintendo DS this year, and it's very intuitive and fun to play.
The core game has been smooth and that continues to be true, and we're always doing a lot of work. And I think we've gone through all the work that we need to do to make sure that the experience is up to par.
