Joint Operations Typhoon Rising, the latest installment in the multiplayer-focused WWII action game series, is headed to North American shores. The second game in the series, Typhoon Rising, focuses on a mysterious island of Japan's Ookui region, which, much like the setting of Joint Operations, is ancient. However, the island was quickly abandoned by the mysterious alien race known as the Levi (a race of thieves that appear to be from Japan). Since then, the Tsutomu, a technologically advanced supercomputer, has reemerged, and the islands are now filled with pirates and other dangerous combatants.
