Jetfighter 2015 marks the return of Jetfighter in the form of a reboot of the game that was canceled, with Capcom opting for a more action-focused approach instead. The original Jetfighter was released in 2003 and was the last entry in the series of games from developer Terminal Reality. The series was an offshoot of the Street Fighter and Castlevania series, a fact that was highlighted at the 2003 GDC press conference. Since the original series was rebooted for the PC in 2004, there has been an explosion of video games.
