    Over The Hedge

Over The Hedge is Sega's first Sonic adventure and it's pretty obvious why. The game places the player in the role of Sonic, a cute hedgehog who simply happens to be best friends with him. The plot kicks off when he gets caught up in the Blue Blur's "falling evil emeralds," a mystical artifact that seems to have unleashed a bunch of evil bad guys into the world. The plot takes an interesting twist when it gets too silly, with Sonic named after The Great Deku Tree and a bunch of friendly hedgehog friends fighting against Eggman's forces in an attempt to bring his "gotta go fast!" pace to a more serious (and decidedly tame) environment. The demo we played allowed us to explore a little more of the level, and we got to try out one of the many different boss battles you'll encounter.

Another technique allows Pac-Man to summon chains to shoot at foes in the air and to pull himself and his foes toward him, like those in the Metroid series.
