    Perimeter's Kickstarter finished yesterday, with only $1.3 million of the $1.1 million goal for the project.EPerimeter, in development by UbiSoft and Set Gaming, is a sci-fi war game that allows players to battle online and offline. It places players in the heart of the Russian post-soviet war effort and lets them fight alongside each other in a single player campaign. Players take control of the enemy's fleet in two distinct modes: a tactical map-based mode where they must wage war against the enemy's carriers, and a battleship mode where players can engage in strategic land and sea combat. The game is currently on the 18th August and has raised $3,500 from around 5,000 backers.

The former allows players to play as either the family dog or the cat, depending on the decisions they make. The two games were developed by Psygnosis, who are best known for their real-life simulation series, Pool, Pool and Boxing. Both games are based on the popular pool game, with players battling in a collection of 15 different pool locations, each with its own strengths and weaknesses.

    Peter Jacksons King Kong actor Tom Hanks will play the voice of legendary King Kong in a new live action featurette on the same channel – according to The Hollywood Reporter (opens in new tab).There was speculation in the past that Mark Wahlberg would be the choice to play the villainous King Kong, but Jacksons is now also confirmed as starring in the films. However, he has yet to make an official announcement.
