Star Trek Starfleet Command 2 Empires at War is a real-time strategy game, and it lets you take command of all the characters from Star Trek. The game takes place on the USS Enterprise, an all-new Star Trek vessel with the ability to "take a leisurely stroll," unlike the more esoteric and organic Star Trek games. Starfleet Command 2 is being developed by Piranha Games, the team that created the original game.

Star Trek Starfleet Command III has been revealed. Called Starfleet Command III, the game's 3D engine has been designed specifically to support real-time 3D graphics. Players will choose between six different classes of officers and engage in tactical combat. In addition to the single-player campaign, Starfleet Command III will include multiplayer and LAN support.

Star Trek Voyager Elite Force II will be the first installment in the series to feature voice acting. The game's goal was to give the gamer the ultimate experience as they patrol the galaxy in a 3D world. With that in mind, it's no wonder that developers were planning on having more voice actors for the game than any other entry in the series, and that has not stopped gamers from talking about the game. Today, Ritual Entertainment and Raven Software announced that they have hired Troy Baker, GameSpot's GameSpot editors' choice for the role of character and the game's plot.

Players will also be able to check out an all-new style of Star Wars battle, including the Clone Wars.Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds: Clone Campaigns is an ambitious update that will add new modes, maps, and additional content to the game in its latest incarnation. Among the more substantial additions to the game is the inclusion of full voice over work for all the game's key characters. Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy (As you might have guessed by now) is coming to the Nintendo Wii as part of the new Star Wars Star Wars Trilogy: Dark Forces (TIE Fighter).The game will contain additional scenes as well as animated extras and TV shows.

Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords was released on May 25, 2000. This edition features the original game and a multiplayer mode, including new classes, a new level, and the original game's classic Episode II "brain blazer." The release also added a demo disc containing the game's story mode.

Star Wars Starfighter is still on schedule, but just a month later than its expected release date, Disney announced this week that the game is expected to launch in late November. As the game was revealed in May, the visuals and animations will differ slightly in more ways than the previously released Disney release of the movie that premiered only four months prior. The action will also feature at least three distinct campaign-type missions that take place in the galaxy's "Great Hope." Some of these missions will be linear, while others will be open-ended and have objectives to complete to earn more experience.
