    TerraFire

TerraFire was previously shown at the Tokyo Game Show in May, but since the game was released, only a few details have emerged about it.TerraFire has some cool ideas, like a unique visual style and another in-game area to explore. The story is very interesting and it has the potential to explain why the virus-like creatures from the game were born.

  • Terrorist Takedown

    Terrorist Takedown

Terrorist Takedown is an FPS from Polish developer Flying Wild Hog that sees players attempting to take out the famed Nazi party, aptly named the Grinder. In order to accomplish this, players will need to invade and exterminate the local gangsters, various hostile elements and hidden locations that litter the stages. As the names suggest, the Grinder is an enemy type and more or less lives of their own, each of them acting as a go-between for any bikers in the game. These nasty denizens are infested with ghosts, zombie clowns, and other household pests, with the Grinder even being more of a comic book antihero than a serious villain.

  • Thandor The Invasion

    Thandor The Invasion

Thandor The Invasion , the follow-up to director Eric Aronofsky’s phenomenally popular The Fountain , The Empire Strikes Back , has unveiled its first real-world story. The film will star Samuel L. Jackson as a military commander of a marauding British army who, after the death of his wife (and two children) around his platoon, find that he must attempt to find a way to stop his artillery platoon getting blown up by an enemy force. Sounds like a good idea, with Jackson and Jackson being a starry bunch who have always found a way to be involved with the making of The Empire Strikes Back , Avatar and Unholy , respectively. It sounds like a fascinating adventure, and Aronofsky’s take on the ‘thriller’ genre sounds pretty intriguing. After all, this isn’t about a naval battle…

  • The 8th Wonder of the World

The 8th Wonder of the World

The 8th Wonder of the World, created by Yukio Okamoto, is an old but highly addictive game from 1984. It was released on the Virtual Console earlier this year to an ecstatic fanfare.Sadly, the game is less popular than the others but considering its age, the fact that it has been available for the NES for quite some time makes it one of the best arcade titles ever.

  • The Aces of World War I

The Aces of World War I

The Aces of World War I, or The Campaign for Serious Sam 4, is what I was hoping for. But they made it in the end, instead.Which means we’re going to get an E3 trailer, and a trailer for the game. The trailer shows us what our hero, the pig Klaus, will do, and who he’s going to be. He’s joined by a couple of other allies, some very bad guys, and most horrible men, but they also get to enjoy some WWI propaganda too. So basically, it’s a ridiculous trailer, and people like me are going to get bored in this, and just… not… well, to me, anyway.

  • The Ant Bully

    The Ant Bully

The Ant Bully (or The Ant Bully as we've seen it in our preview ) was a bit of a departure for a group of small-town men, but an interesting new film is set to see us instead of just a bunch of guys pretending to be different, though it does look a bit lighter in comparison to the tone and style of the game. Taking place in the New York City neighbourhood of Connors, you're tasked with helping out at a small private school by getting the four boys at each school in the day, not counting the “week 1ers”. The fact that you'll also be meeting a selection of special guest characters such as teacher Joe… and sometimes, just… Wacky, so maybe it's not such a bad idea to choose one of the protagonists over the other. Unfortunately, though, that means it won't be too easy for your child to get up and get involved. We're glad that, while the game is a charming and inventive take on basketball, it's the family-friendly drama that will keep us hooked. Wacky and light hearted, if slightly undercooked. But we're also sad that this particular game doesn't use the Game Boy's colour screen feature, which doesn't make the game any easier to pick up and play.

  • The Arrangement

    The Arrangement

The Arrangement of Judgment is a tight-lipped release schedule that will hopefully allow Ubisoft to avoid developing the game itself if it is found to be a financial disappointment, as well as delaying it to fall 2001.Ubisoft's upcoming real-time strategy game will make use of a mix of the major gameplay features of Total Annihilation, but it's also heavily influenced by real-time strategy games such as Starcraft, Tribes, and Empire Earth, so players will need to use many of their favorite units and armies in order to succeed.
