    Dragonriders Chronicles of Pern is being developed by People Can Fly, the developers of Bulletstorm, and is in the early stages of pre-production. The game, which is set in the ancient fantasy world of Pern, will release some time in 2021 for the Xbox Series X|S and PC. The story is set in an ancient world called Engrad, which is inspired by ancient Chinese legend. With an RPG gameplay mechanic where players can level up their characters and equip gear, Dragonriders Chronicles will have an interesting premise.

The characters in Dream Angel will be armed with special weapons and the ability to control the Havok Physics System - allowing for additional actions on the battlefield.

The game is played from a top-down view, with its only means of transportation being with the onscreen cursor. Players can engage in fighting with enemies by using the stylus and the D pad. The game has an unusual look to it, with the characters making use of the 3D graphics from the Dreamcast game. The environments and backgrounds have a slightly cartoonlike look to them.
