Founded in 1988, the tool has been used to develop games, programs, and websites for a host of purpose-built game players. One of the most popular, however, is the creation of the cut-and-paste-happy world of Ch1E, which lets developers insert their own worlds into an existing game or application and simply use the assets that they have created. Driv3r works by letting users insert their own games, items, levels, and adventures into a usable version of the game.
